Now you have your new GPSBob device, installation is simple, just follow the instructions that relates to your device and Bobs your uncle!

All devices are pre installed with a sim card and are ready to use. We provide you with enough data to last over 5 years with normal use. Remaining data can be viewed within the app, and once depleted can be quickly topped up to allow for another 5 years of service.

Every device come with an unlimited access to our Home Subscription level, which allows you to track and view the devices movements over the last month.

Additional features and functions can be enabled by increasing your subscription level in the apps or on the website.

Install and setup

Connecting the device to the vehicles battery is usually the quickest and simplest way to get up and running, and its really simple. First you need to locate your vehicle battery, this is normally in the engine compartment or maybe in the boot, place the device on top of the battery, and connect the red wire to positive and the black wire to negative.

The device however will usually work anywhere in a vehicle, as long as you have a 12/24v positive feed and a negative (or chassis ground), as long as the device can get a GPS signal (usually meaning not in a metal box), you can hide a bury the device as best you see fit. You can also extend the wires from the device as long as the wire gauge used matches or exceeds the existing wiring, allowing you to really hide it away and conceal any cables.
